Back in the day, if you needed a hat, you went to the milliner; a good pair of shoes, the cobbler.  

BEES'NETTA strives to be the bagmaker, to embody the ideal of craft by spending her life trying to master it.  While drawing from the simple and functional designs of early Americana, BEES'NETTA also designs with nomadic behaviors and a bit of eclecticism. 

Suzie Sorenson runs the business out of her 120-year-old, at-home studio in Chicago.

She acts as designer, seamstress, model, and photographer...but when not working she quietly resides with a bearded man and a fat black lab.
